Volker Hohmann is a proven corporate development professional with over 20 years of experience in strategy development, M&A transaction management including post-merger-integration, strategic planning, market research and competitive intelligence, and international project management. During his career, Mr. Hohmann has successfully implemented market entry and growth strategies for some of the world’s largest construction service providers and executed M&A transaction resulting in over $3.0 billion in incremental annual revenue.

Prior to forming Arctos, Mr. Hohmann was CEO & President of Boecker USA, Inc. (Boecker), a national distributor for a leading German specialized crane and lifting equipment manufacturer. During his tenure Mr. Hohmann relocated the US operations, implemented a dealer & distributor network, and spearheaded new business growth for the North & South American operations.

Prior to Boecker, Mr. Hohmann was Director of Corporate Marketing for Turner Construction, the largest US general builder with annual volume of $10 billion. His accomplishments included the establishment of a market research and business intelligence function for over 40 business units, and project management for multiple acquisitions and growth initiatives.

Mr. Hohmann started his career as in-house consultant directly under the executive board of HOCHTIEF, a leading international contractor with annual volume exceeding $34B. For HOCHTIEF he served as project executive in North & South America as well as the United Kingdom, Denmark, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy and Poland.

Mr. Hohmann earned a B.B.A. in marketing from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from University of Phoenix. Further professional development includes completing the HOCHTIEF executive leadership program for senior and international general management.

Paul Drobnitch is a veteran in corporate strategy and acquisitions with 20 years of experience in strategic planning, market and competitive analysis, and end-to-end M&A transaction management. Over his career, Mr. Drobnitch has successfully executed M&A transaction and other growth initiatives resulting in over $2.0 billion in incremental annual revenue.

Prior to forming Arctos, Mr. Drobnitch was Vice President, Corporate Development for Roofing Supply Group (RSG), a national distributor of roofing and building materials with annual sales approaching $1 billion. His accomplishments in M&A and new location development produced 20% growth in revenue and EBITDA, contributing toward the successful ownership transition of RSG in 2012 from The Sterling Group to Clayton, Dubilier, & Rice (CD&R).

Prior to RSG, Mr. Drobnitch was Director of Corporate Development for Turner Construction, the largest US general builder with annual volume of $10 billion. His accomplishments included multiple acquisitions, divestitures and the launch of new businesses, providing over $1 billion in revenue growth.

Mr. Drobnitch has also held similar senior leadership positions with other Fortune 500 companies across a broad range of industries, including Stryker Corporation (medical devices), E.W. Blanch Holdings (reinsurance), and Chicago Title Insurance (title insurance).

Mr. Drobnitch earned a B.A. in economics from Davidson College and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University. His post-graduate education includes completing the Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
